Nina Garcia

Join us behind the scenes of Project Runway season 20 glam time with the gorgeous judge and editor in chief of Elle magazine, Nina Garcia. Her longtime makeup artist and our bare founder Tina Turnbow gives us a peek at what she used get her glow on. Nina also shares her bare beauty essentials and a quote about why she loves Tina’s makeup artistry. Tune in to Bravo June 15th to see Nina in action sharing her passions, inspirations, exquisite taste, incredible knowledge and support.

To start her glowy look Tina prepped Nina’s skin with NYDG Luminzing Skin Essence and then topped with Eve Lom’s rich moisture cream.

Next step a mix of a few shades of Cle De Peau Radiant cream foundation smoothed on with her fingers.

Mineral Fusion concealer was dabbed on where needed. For a bit of natural contour the creamy Face Stick in Obsidian by Ogee.

Merit makeup was a favorite on set - in fact Nina got Tina hooked on it! Their sheer creamy textures gave a luminous wash of color without looking makeup-y. For cheeks a mix of Mood and Cheeky created the perfect flush.

Nina’s lovely pout was accentuated with Kevyn Aucoin lip liner in Unforgettable. Merit lipstick in Slip — a perfect warm brown nude topped with their Shade Slick lip oil in Taupe.

And finally Chantecaille’s Perfect Blur finishing powder in a few shades to cut down shine and add warmth.

NINA EYES: Creamy textures and eyeliners are blended together to create a warm smokey eye. Tina softly defines with her favorite Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliners in Bourbon and Whiskey and smudges in Ilia’s Liquid Powder Eye Tint in Ochre. Lashes get popped up with a favorite Kevyn Aucoin curler and then a swipe of Tarte Gifted Amazonian Smart Mascara (it lasts wonderfully on long set days)
